The Ravi Teja starrer is written by Prasanna Kumar Bezawada and directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina
Fans of actor Ravi Teja were in for a minor disappointment when the star’s Rama Rao on Duty release was postponed from June 17, to make way for Rana Daggubati-Sai Pallavi starrer Virata Parvam. The actor will have two releases in the coming months apart from Rama Rao on Duty - Dhamaka and Ravanasura. Among the two, Dhamaka is expected to release earlier.
A new look of Dhamaka’s leading lady, Sreeleela, was launched today, commemorating her birthday. The actress, donning a funky, vibrant top, is all sassy and appealing in the look that grabs your attention instantly. Cast in the role of Pranavi, Dhamaka will be her first major release after the success of her debut Pelli SandaD last year.
Directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina, Dhamaka is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and co-produced by Vivek Kuchibhotla under People Media Factory, Abhishek Aggarwal Arts. Well-known writer Prasanna Kumar Bezawada has provided the story, and dialogues. The film’s tagline reads ‘Double Impact’ hinting at a possible double role to be played by Ravi Teja.
Bheems Ceciroleo scores the music for the film which has cinematography by Karthik Ghattamneni. Srinagendra Tangala is the production designer and Ram-Lakshman duo handle stunt choreography. Dhamaka is in last leg of shoot and the makers will announce a release date shortly. Sreeleela, apart from Dhamaka, has signed two films alongside Nithiin and Kireeti Reddy too.
