Kangana Ranaut’s spy thriller Dhaakad is only a few days away from its big release. And the actors and makers are going full swing, promoting the film. Though Kangana Ranaut is known for creating controversies, giving tough time to her colleagues, Arjun Rampal thinks otherwise. The actor, who plays the antagonist in the movie, calls his co-star a “sweetheart”.

In an interview with Times of India, Rampal said that he has known Kangana for a long time now and that they both won their National Awards together, with Arjun winning it for Rock On and Kangana for Fashion. He added that the two had also partied together in his nightclub in Delhi.

"She has come home as well and we have met a number of times on different occasions. She is a very sweet girl. I have seen her evolve as an actor," Arjun added.

The two actors are busy with the promotions for the upcoming movie, which is touted to be a spy thriller with large doses of action. The first trailer showed Kangana pulling off a number of high-octane action sequences, which involves weapons, from knives to guns.

The second trailer for the movie also gave a look into Arjun’s character named Rudraveer. The actor looked menacing and also seemed to be in full action.

The movie will revolve around Agent Agni (Kangana), who has to gather intel on Rudraveer, a notorious international human and arms trafficker.

Directed by Razneesh Ghai and backed by Asylum films, Soham Rockstar Entertainment, and Sohel Maklai Productions, the movie will hit theatres on May 20. Dhaakad will be out in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam across the nation.
