Srabanti Chatterjee is all set to start his shoot for Devi Chowdhurani. She decided to offer a puja in Tarapith Temple on Monday afternoon. She shared a photo from the temple which shows her in a devotional mood holding the puja tray. The actress looks stunning in a white saree with red borders, small earrings, and a vermillion tip on her forehead.

The shooting of Devi Chowdhurani will start soon. The photos of the different avatars of her first look were published recently. In some photos, she poses as the dacoit queen. She is also seen in a warrior mood, with a tilak on her forehead and a bow-and-arrow in her hand. In a couple of photos, she looks like a simple Bengali housewife. Fans were elated with the photos. Srabanti offered a puja before the shooting started.

The director told OTTplay, “This is a huge canvas that has never been attempted in Bengali cinema. We are very cautious about the fact so that there is no mistake.”

Srabanti’s personal life came to the headlines several times owing to her marriages and divorces. But she never stopped working. She said several times that she believes in staying happy. This time, too, after offering the puja at Tarapith, the actress wrote ‘Shanti’ (peace) in the caption.
