Devara Second Single promo: Jr NTR-Janhvi Kapoor team up for Anirudh Ravichander’s love anthem

The much-awaited Devara second single promo is finally out on social media. The new promo suggests that the Jr NTR-Janhvi Kapoor song composed by Anirudh Ravichander, is a romantic melody.

Devara, the action drama which stars Jr NTR, is gearing up for a September 2024 release. The Koratala Siva directorial marks the Telugu superstar’s comeback to big screens after the massive success of SS Rajamouli’s RRR. The highly anticipated project marks the Telugu cinema debut of Bollywood star Janhvi Kapoor. The makers of the project are now set to reveal the Devara second single, on August 5, 2024. Ahead of the song release, the team dropped a special promo on social media, recently.

Recently, the cast and crew members of Devara took to their respective social media handles and the second single promo video, leaving the fans super excited. From the promising song promo, it is safe to assume that celebrated musician Anirudh Ravichander has created a soothing romantic melody for the film, and it might emerge as the love anthem of the year. Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor’s fresh chemistry is expected to elevate the song, which is expected to be revealed on Monday, August 5, by the evening.

The Devara second single is sung by the popular playback singer Shilpa Rao, in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. The Tamil version, however, is sung by the talented Deepthi Suresh. Ramajogayya Sasthri penned the lyrics for the original Telugu version. Director-lyricist Vignesh Shivan, Mankombu Gopalakrishnan, Kausar Munir, and Varadaraj Chikkaballapura penned the lyrics of Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, and Kannada versions, respectively. The second single promo hints that music composer Anirudh Ravichander is set to take a deviation from his signature style for the new song.

Devara Part 1 and Part 2 release plans

As reported earlier, the highly anticipated Devara Part 1 is gearing up to hit the theatres across the globe, on September 27, 2024. The Koratala Siva directorial is set to have a pan-Indian release in five languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. The second part of the franchise, on the other hand, is expected to get released by the final quarter of 2025, or the beginning of 2026.
