Devara is Jr NTR's most-awaited film and will be released in two parts. The first part will have a grand release on October 10, 2024. It is a known fact that the digital rights of Devara have been bagged by Netflix for a whopping price and the deal was closed some time ago.

OTT rights details of Devara Part 2

We have already reported that Netflix has shelled out a whopping Rs 155 crore for these rights. This price includes Hindi and all the Southern languages and is the highest ever for any Jr NTR film to date. With this amount, half of the film's budget has been recovered.

Now, the news is that the makers are demanding big bucks for the second part of the film. They are expecting at least Rs 170 crore for the sequel. Jr NTR is the co-producer of this film as his actor brother Kalyan Ram is producing this film and they are confident that Devara will be a massive success.

Devara is being directed by Koratala Siva who gave a big hit with Janatha Garage, featuring Jr NTR in a lead role. That is also one of the reasons that Devara is being eagerly awaited by one and all. NTR is in top form, especially after the success of RRR, and Netflix very well knows that Devara will take the reach of its platform to the next level in Telugu states.

Jr NTR's Devara key star cast details

Janhvi Kapoor is making her debut with this film along with Saif Ali Khan, who plays the main villain. Anirudh has composed music for this film and the pre-release business of the movie is also happening at a brisk pace. The theatrical rights of Devara are being sold at some unheard amounts in Telugu states. The dubbing, remake, satellite, and audio rights will fetch the makers big money.

The teaser has created a solid impact for the film, thereby taking the buzz to the next level. The shooting of Devara is happening in Goa and very soon, the first part will be wrapped up. NTR plays a fisherman in this film which is about the forgotten beaches along the coastal regions of Andhra Pradesh. Watch this space for more updates.
