Jr. NTR, the Telugu superstar, is reuniting with director Koratala Siva for his next outing, Devara. The project features Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead.

Devara, one of the most anticipated upcoming projects of the Telugu film industry, is now nearing the final stages of its filming. The project, which is touted to be a full-fledged action thriller marks the fourth collaboration between Telugu superstar Jr. NTR and director Koratala Siva. Earlier, the first installment of the film, which has been titled Devara Part 1, was slated to hit the big screens in April 2024.

But now, the release of the project has been postponed to October this year due to a delay in its shooting plans. As per the recent updates, the final schedule for filming Jr. NTR and Koratala Siva’s ambitious project has finally started rolling.

Devara Part 1 final schedule starts rolling in Hyderabad

According to recent updates, the final schedule for the Janatha Garage actor-director duo’s next outing started rolling in Hyderabad recently. Reportedly, leading man Jr. NTR and the other prominent stars of the project are now filming some of the most crucial portions of the film in the special sets, which have been constructed in the famous film city of Hyderabad. The cast and crew resumed the shooting after a long schedule break which lasted for over 40 days.

According to sources close to the project, leading man Jr. NTR, who is playing the central character Devaraju, aka Devara, in the film, joined the new schedule on Monday, February 26, 2024. Director Koratala Siva and his team are planning to shoot four song sequences of the film after wrapping up the major portions of the film within the next two weeks.

The grapevine also suggests that Devara Part 1 will have four major song sequences. Jr. NTR and leading lady Janhvi Kapoor, who plays the character Thangam in the film are expected to be featured in three romantic numbers in the film. The Telugu superstar is also expected to shoot a high-voltage intro song sequence for the mass action thriller. For the uninitiated, famous Tamil music director Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for Devara.
