Dev is clearly excited about the return of the show. “We have set a very high standard in the second season. It was nothing short of any international level. That is our benchmark and we will have to level it up from there. We have complete faith that the new talents will surpass the talents we saw last year. Last year, every child impressed the audience not only in Bengal but also nationally. Each of the contestants built their own set of fan squads last year. Through their dance performances, they reached out to their audience. They became household names. I am sure we will showcase even better talents this year,” says the star.
This year, Rukmini makes a grand entry at the show. Talking about her, Dev says, “She will of course add glamour and value. And she is a very talented person. I have a feeling that the participants will learn new things from her. I am very happy for her. I have never worked with her as a co-judge. I will see how that goes.”
Dev also claims that there is no alternative to hard work. While giving tips to the participants, he says, “Hard work, hard work and hard work and that is because that is the only key to success. Today’s kids and their parents are very dedicated and disciplined. I learned a lot from them last season and this year too, I am looking forward to it. If anyone, who is participating here or on some other reality show, is getting this message from me I would like to repeat that there is no alternative to hard work and discipline. If you are ready, opportunities will come to you.”
