When Dev came to Kolkata, riding a taxi was a luxury to him. In many interviews, he said that he used to go to the shooting floors by metro. Now he has his own house and cars. But he did not forget his roots. He still takes a taxi or an auto if needed, he claimed in a recent interview.

Dev said that he rides by a taxi while going to the Parliament House. He rides autos in Mumbai. During his struggle period, he sometimes took a taxi if he got money from production. He said that he did not forget those days of struggle.
Dev debuted in Tollywood 18 years ago with the film Agnisapath. He then went through many ups and downs and portrayed many characters. A number of his films will be released soon.
Dev was last seen in Pradhan, a super hit at the box office. He will next be seen in Srijit Mukherji's film Tekka. The first schedule shoot has recently finished. The film will be released this Puja.
