Munawar Faruqui wins Bigg Boss 17

Munawar Faruqui won Bigg Boss 17 in January but he could not beat Salman Khan’s popularity in the particular month. That’s right, the list of most popular Hindi TV celebs is out and while Munawar is in top five, he doesn’t surpass the popularity of the host Salman Khan. The report on Ormax Media also claims Ankita Lokhande, who was in top four, as the only other popular Bigg Boss 17 contestant.

Salman most popular on Bigg Boss 17

Salman Khan is the second most loved personality. Even Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui could not beat his popularity. Munawar made it to top three and ranks third. The surprise factor comes in Ankita Lokhande, who did not make it beyond top four on the show. Despite that, she is the fourth most loved personality on Hindi TV.

Kapil Sharma still most loved

Kapil Sharma continues to be the most loved TV personality. The comedy show host is still the top most TV personality for the month of January. Neither Salman nor Munawar could beat him at that.

Other actor-show host in top five

Another actor-show host made it to top five. Yes, you guessed it right. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is the fifth most loved personality in the month. He hosts Kaun Banega Crorepati and by bidding the season goodbye in January, he left one-and-all emotional. Thus, his ranking on the list comes as no surprise.

Two out of top three Bigg Boss 17 contestants do not make it

While Ankita is on the list, two out of the top three contestants on Bigg Boss 17 did not make it to the list. They are the runner-up Abhishek Kumar and second runner-up Mannara Chopra. Both Abhishek and Mannara are popular personalities. They co-incidentally are also the first contestants to appear in a music video. Saanware, featuring them, is out now.
