Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc episode 8 review:

Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc's iconic Muzan Kibusuju walk sets the stage for what promises to be a dramatic and action-packed finale. The music, which has been the series' strength, also plays an important role in the finale episode.

Enjoy 35+ OTTs like ZEE5, LionsgatePlay, Ullu, SunNXT, SonyLIV, Fancode and 250+ Live TV channels at just ₹99.

Having chased Muzan for 1000 years, Kagaya Ubuyashiki finally meets him. It is time for all the Hashira to gather and fight this ultimate demon. But does that come at a price?

Ubuyashiki reveals information that is sure to blow your mind. It is about Muzan. The demon's response to this event is particularly remarkable. Ubuyashiki introduces the Hashiras, and Tanjiro emerges as a special character. It follows his style, so don't expect Muzan's suaveness. The introduction is passable, not amazing.

To the viewers' surprise, Ubuyashiki and Muzan exchange a tremendous deal of respect. This makes the latter a devil, unlike the others. He is patient until the very end. Wind Hashira Sanemi Shinazugawa is the first to dash in. This does not come as a surprise, as he and Serpent Hashira Obanai Iguro have been closely associated with potential since the beginning of the series. Needless to say, they are still rocking.

The visuals are stunning. The creators have meticulously crafted Muzan. This episode has it all, from the best dramatic walk to the most visually appealing dramatic moments.

Among the Hashiras, Sanemi, Iguro, Love Hashira Mutsuri Kanroji, Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito, Water Hashira Giyu Tomioka, and Tanjiro observe the recent events. Muzan also gets a new look in this episode. Mind you, he is still deadly. He is deadly right out of Attack, even at the Titan level.

Just when you thought Muzan had won, he has obstacle after hurdle to overcome. Can he do so unscathed? is the question. Lady Tamayo, as expected, is finally back for the finale after her appearance in the first episode of the season. She ends up playing an important part in the ultimate battle.

Stone Hashira Gyomei Himejima, after all this time, finally goes on to prove what makes him the Strongest Hashira. However, a backstory follows, serving only as a filler at a crucial juncture in the battle. When Muzan and Himejima get serious on the battlefield, that warzone is a place you don't even want to blink, or you'll miss out on something magical.

Sanemi impresses, as he always does. He is in no mood to sit back and demands a fight, while Himejima does everything in his power to keep Muzan entertained. As expected in the episode, every other Hashira follows suit. When they come together, it is the moment that you've been following the series for. It is so brilliant. Muzan, facing them, continues to smile warmly. When you know hell is coming, you'll experience it.

Genya Shinazugawa joins the fight. So do Inosuke, Zenitsu, and every trainee on campus. They did not request it, and they certainly did not expect it, but here it is, waiting for them. The crows were not spared either.

The battle proceeds to Muzan vs. Tanjiro. The beginning of the battle is truly remarkable. Additionally, it is important to remember that the beginning truly signifies the end. Kanroji appears in the post-credits scene. Her presence takes the load off of what just happened. Plus, there's a revelation about our beloved Rengoku. PS: There's a little surprise here too.

Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc episode 8 verdict:

The episode's creators have been a bit cruel, leaving everyone yearning for the final battle but failing to deliver it. Everything in the episode works perfectly well. From the visuals to the added drama and suspense, this one has it all. We guarantee that you will need to pause to process the scene.
