Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc episode 5 will explain why and when Wind Hashira Sanemi Shinazugawa's brother Genya started eating demons.
Demon Slayer.
Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc’s new episode, episode 5, will be out in a few hours. The title of the episode is already out and with it, you already know what is coming. That’s right, for I Even Ate Demons, you will get to explore more about Genya Shinazugawa. Genya was a part of the Swordsmith Village Arc along with Tanjiro Kamado. He will now meet his brother Sanemi Shinazugawa, who is the Wind Hashira, after they abandoned each other in childhood. Thus, their tragic backstory will be explored as well.
Genya and Sanemi both underwent a major loss, which has shaped them into what they have become. Both the brothers are famous for their temper but Genya likes to be alone, while Sanemi wants to pick a fight with every person in front of him. Their tragic backstory, of how their mother turned into a demon and devoured all her children, and how Sanemi saved Genya, will be explored in this episode once again. Not just that, we will also be taken to the moment where Genya first consumed a demon and continued doing so. This was hinted at in Swordsmith Village Arc, where Genya asked Tanjiro and everybody else to stay away from him the minute his appearance and intentions started changing. Sanemi, on the other hand, has scars over his body. He was rejected by his only surviving family (Genya) and thus, Sanemi embraced the Hashira Training and ended up as the fierce Wind Hashira. The story behind his scars is also likely to be revealed in the episode.
Tanjiro has started training with Love Hashira Misturi Kanroji. Knowing their equation, he is likely to proceed to the next level in a blink. This time, he might end up training or rather fighting with Sanemi, since the latter just wants more competition.
Not just that, Muzan Kibusuji has made his move. Nakime, who has the ability to alter the Infinity Castle’s structure by using her biwa, has set her eyes on Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito. In the last episode, Tokito went to train with Sanemi and Snake Hashira Obanai Iguro. Thus, it is likely that the trio faces Nakime, who has just been bestowed with new powers. After Tanjiro killed Hantengu, Nakime was promoted to Upper Moon 4.
Tanjiro united with Tokito and the two trained together. Tokito went back to his cold self but this time, he had a very valid reason for doing so. Meanwhile, Muichiro himself was training with Sanemi-Obanai. While Tanjiro helped Tokito get closer to the Hashiras he is training, Retired Water Hashira Sakonji Urokodaki made a comeback. He will be looking after Nezuko who is Muzan’s number one target.
Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc is available on both Netflix and Jio Cinema in India (and Crunchyroll for anime lovers across the globe). The episodes are out on the platforms at 11.15 pm on Sundays.
