Dejavu teaser: Arulnithi comes up with another thriller; the actor plays an IPS officer in the film

As announced earlier, the makers of Dejavu, starring Arulnithi in the lead, unveiled its teaser through Udhayanidhi Stalin's Twitter page. The actor-politician released the one-minute teaser, which has Arulnithi essaying the role of an IPS officer, who is after an intelligent criminal who commits crimes at regular intervals.

Arulnithi, who is known for choosing thrillers, was seen recently in the trailer of Vijay Kumar's D Block, another upcoming project of his set against a college hostel. Arvindh Srinivasan has directed Dejavu which is being produced by Vijay Pandi K under White Carpet Films.

Ghibran has composed music for the whodunit which has Madhubala, Achyuth Kumar, Smruthi Venkat, Chetan, Kali Venkat and Mime Gopi among others playing prominent characters. Cinematographer PG Muthiah has co-produced the project which has editing by Arul E Siddharth and lyrics penned by Arul E Siddharth.

Pradeep Dinesh and Vinoth Raveendran have handled action choreography and art direction respectively for Dejavu which has been billed as a 'mystical crime story'. Arulnithi's convincing portrayal of a taut cop, Ghibran's impressive score and Muthiah's captivating visuals are the highlights of the teaser. Kanna Sreevathsan has written dialogues for the film.

Arulnithi was last seen in Rajasekar's Kalathil Santhippom (streaming on Zee5) which released in theatres an year ago. Innasi Pandiyan's Diary is another upcoming project of the young actor who has been part of mostly thrillers in his decade-long career.

It is expected that Dejavu, Diary and D Block will hit the screens this year itself, if everything goes well. The actor's last outing released after a two-year hiatus. Barath Neelakantan's K-13 (streaming on Sun NXT, Jio Cinema and MX Player) was his previous film before Kalathil Santhippom.
