Pathaan is the fourth collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
The box office has been on fire ever since Deepika Padukone's most recent film, Pathaan with megastar Shah Rukh Khan, was released. At a recent party for the movie's success, she talked about it and said what she thought was her co-star's most underrated skill.
When asked about working with Shah Rukh in the fight scenes of the movie at the event, where John Abraham and the director Sidharth Anand were also present, John Abraham showered praise on the actor, saying, "I am actually surprised that he didn't become an action star earlier because he is so good in action and is so flexible."
Deepika added to this by mentioning Shah Rukh's most underappreciated characteristic. "This is one of the most underrated qualities about him; action is like dance; it's all about choreography and precision and timing, and you have to have the presence of mind when you do action, and he does it so well," the actor remarked.
The actor went on: "Of course, he does it in an action movie, but he does it even when you are not doing an action movie. His presence of mind and surroundings is something we all have learnt from him."
Alongside the superstar, Deepika made her Bollywood debut in 2007's Om Shanti Om. She later worked with SRK on the commercially successful films Chennai Express and Happy New Year.
After a four-year absence, SRK is back on the big screen with Pathaan. The action-spy movie has earned more than Rs 500 crore at international box offices, bringing its overall earnings to Rs 542 crore.
The Hindi version of the movie made Rs 58.50 crore in India on its fifth day, making it the quickest Hindi film to reach Rs 250 crore. Siddharth Anand has directed Pathaan which is produced by Yash Raj Films.
