Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan will be seen together in a film for the first time
For the first time ever, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone will be seen together on screen. Dubbed India’s first aerial actioner, the highly-anticipated Siddharth Anand directorial Fighter is poised to release on January 25 next year. Recently, when the Pathaan actress was asked to comment on her onscreen chemistry with the Vikram Vedha star, Deepika visibly blushed, saying, “I always wanted to work with him”.

Produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures, Fighter also stars Anil Kapoor. Hrithik announced the project on his birthday in 2021. “Presenting a glimpse of the MARFLIX vision as Fighter! Looking forward to my first flight alongside the exceptional Deepika Padukone. All buckled up for this Siddharth Anand joyride”, he tweeted.
Now, while speaking in an interview with Bollywood Hungama when Deepika was asked about the collaboration, she exclaimed, “Have you seen us?!” Adding to that, the Padmaavat star said, “I have always wanted to work with him, I feel like, you know sometimes it’s not just about wanting to work with someone, I just feel like there are so many things, it has to be the right script, it has to be the right director, it has to be the right time in your life. There are so many things that decide. So yeah, I guess it’s the right time for us to come together.”

Commenting on the film, the director had earlier said, “This is definitely one of the most exciting moments of my life to bring together two of my favourite stars, Hrithik and Deepika, for the first time to the Indian and global audience. I am thrilled to begin the journey of MARFLIX, a production house dedicated to action filmmaking in India.”
