Bollywood's power couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are pregnant. The couple made a big announcement on Thursday morning (February 29). According to the reports, the actress is in her second trimester and her delivery is due in September 2024.

Taking to their social media accounts, the couple shared a picture that shows cute baby shoes, balloons, hearts, baby clothes, etc. The couple captioned the picture "🙏🏽🧿🙏🏽"

As soon as Ranveer and Deepika announced their pregnancy, fans have been continuously commenting on the post congratulating the mom and dad-to-be. Their friends from the film industry also congratulated the couple in the comments section. Deepika's Chapaak co-star Vikrant Massey commented, "OMGGGGGGG!!!! Bahut bahut shubhkamnaen aap dono ko!!!" while Kriti Sanon wrote, "Omg!!!! Congratulations you two!!!" Rakul Preet Singh, who recently tied knot with Jackky Bhagnani also commented on their post, she wrote, "Omgggg congratulations ❤️❤️❤️❤️ sooooo happppy". A lot of other actors including Sonam Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Bhumi Pednekar, Neena Gupta, among others also sent wishes to Deepika and Ranveer.

There have been rumors about the pregnancy of Deepika for quite some time now. A source informed The Week, “The actor is said to be in her second trimester.” It is to be noted that the couple made the announcement weeks after Deepika confessed that she wants to have kids with Ranveer. Recently, while speaking to Vogue Singapore, she said, "Absolutely. Ranveer and I love children. We look forward to the day when we will start our own family."

On November 14, 2018, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot at Italy's Lake Como. The couple dated for six years before getting married. They fell in love on the sets of Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's romantic film. In November 2023, the couple celebrated their fifth anniversary in Belgium.
