Deep Water trailer: Ana de Armas and Ben Affleck play a dangerous game of sex and love in this thriller

The trailer gives a look into a marriage that is anything but normal, until things stars going very wrong

The makers of Deep Water starring Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas in the lead have released an official trailer for the film. The trailer reveals a dark and twisted story of a married couple.

The two leading stars are a married couple, but have a complicated relationship. Ana de Armas goes around wooing and sleeping with other men to Afleck’s growing frustration. de Armas’ character looks complicated while Affleck seems to be playing a game with his wife.

The trailer also reveals the film taking a darker step, when someone ends up dying in a swimming pool. With all the makings of a great psychological thriller, the film comes to fans in Amazon Prime Video on March 18.

Based on Patricia Highsmith's 1957 novel of the same name, the film follows Vic and Melinda Van Allen. They are a married couple who start playing twisted games with each other to spice up their marriage when they start falling out of love.

Apart from Affleck and de Armas, the film also features Tracy Letts, Rachel Blanchard, Lil Rel Howery, Finn Wittrock, Jacob Elordi, Dash Mihok and Kristen Connolly.

The film also sees the return of filmmaker Adrian Lyne. The director, has previously made psychological erotic thrillers like Fatal Attraction, Jacob's Ladder and Indecent Proposal. The 81 year old director last helmed Unfaithful in 2002.

Affleck, who was last seen in The Tender Bar and as an actor, writer and producer in The Last Duel will also be a part of the upcoming The Flash.

de Armas who recently played Paloma in No Time To Die is also working on The Gray Man directed by Anthony and Joe Russo.
