While the genre is still being explored, fans can now appreciate a well-regarded Korean drama from the past, Deep Trap releasing on Playflix this month.

The library ranges from rom-coms to thrillers to horror, and you might be surprised by its variety. A suspense thriller now lands on Playflix titled Deep Trap.
Starring Ma Dong-seok, Kim Min-kyeong, Jo Han-sun, Jee An, and an ensemble cast, Deep Trap was released in 2015 and is directed by Kwan Hyeong-jin. The movie, about a couple entering a danger zone thinking it's a vacation, is set to release in June, and that too this week. Deep Trap will start streaming on Playflix in India from June 14, 2024. The film will also be available in Tamil and Telugu for the regional audience in the country.
About Deep Trap
Junsik and Soyeon are a couple living in the trauma of a miscarriage that has left them scared to get intimate. As part of couples therapy, they travel to a remote island where they find accommodation in a shady restaurant. The owner of the restaurant, Seongcheol, greets them but gives off a creepy vibe. As the day progresses and night approaches, the shady place transforms into a dark hole, and soon they see the owner killing another couple, turning their worlds upside down.
