Dear Ishq episode 55 review: Sehban Azim-Niyati Fatnani get better in their show
Dear Ishq.

Story:

Asmita realized Abhimanyu’s truth. She now wants to stay away from him. How long can she though?

Review:

Dear Ishq episode 55 begins with, no guesses, glimpses of Mumbai. Sehban Azim’s Abhimanyu Razdan is introduced soon after. He nails the distressed scene. Thankfully, with the flashback, the makers do a good job with his scene.

The suspense music and the mysterious man’s entry actually go hand-in-hand. It tends to go a little overboard but if ignored, it is almost good.

Kunal Verma as Rizwan Khan with Vikas Grover in the role of his boyfriend Anirban are the same. The latter finally comes back in limelight.

Sugandh Dhindaw in the role of Bani is a disappointment, mainly because of the music that comes as a plus one with her character. Kishwer Merchant’s Maya, on the other hand, nails it despite the overdramatic music.

Of course, there’s a scene to determine that you cannot see anybody but the person you love everywhere you go. The romance is forced this time with Abhimanyu.

Niyati Fatnani’s Asmita Roy is her sad self from the start. However, with the entry of Kaveri Ghosh as Asmita’s mother and Beena Banerjee, who plays the grandmom, the scene takes a switch to comedy.

Like always, just as an intense scene starts, the makers are back to showing you glimpses of Mumbai. Once again.

Roma Bali in the role of Abhimanyu’s mother is sweet as always. She has a brief appearance this time.

There are so many discrepancies in the scenes. While Abhimanyu is happy meeting his mother in one scene, he’s furiously driving in another.

Buneet Kapoor makes a comeback as Shauvik and he has a tete-a-tete with Abhimanyu this time. They have an interesting conversation. Thankfully, the music amps up this scene.

Sehban obviously nails his acting as Abhimanyu. Niyati also gets better as Asmita. The episode ends with them.

Verdict:

Dear Ishq continues to disappoint you. However, Sehban Azim never does. This time, Niyati Fatnani is also good in her role as Asmita Roy. Watch the episode for the two.
