Niyati in the role of Asmita is the focus and she’s depressing to watch.
Story:
Asmita Roy is faced with the challenge of how to go ahead with her life after parting ways with her company. That is when she discovers a new opportunity.
Review:
Dear Ishq has an emotional start this time. Of course, Niyati Fatnani’s Asmita Roy is at the centre of it. The dramatic music is just too much to handle, on top of her depressing emotions.
A hilarious thing happens. After showing pain in arms, a character has heart attack. The pain was never in the chest, only in the arms. Every. Single. Time.
Asmita’s conversation with Rizwan was supposed to be interesting but it is barely okay. Her expressions definitely don’t work. Neither with Rizwan nor with Shauvik, Niyati as Asmita is anything but appealing.
The show gets super dramatic since. The music, as expected, doesn’t work either.
Sehban Azim as Abhimanyu Razdan is still delusional. He’s softening up and honestly, the actor is not nailing it currently, not as much as he did previously.
Kishwer Merchant as Maya does not appear. Her voice is here and it leaves zero impact.
There’s absolutely nothing to look forward to in this episode. Thankfully, there’s something new with the promo this time.
Verdict:
Dear Ishq has gone from bad to worse. There’s no progress on the show and it simply drags one depressing scene into a whole episode.
