Ajay Devgn collaborated with Luv Ranjan back in 2019 for a movie that was an unexpected hit. The movie, co-starring Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh, was De De Pyaar De. Now, the film has got a sequel and is ready for shooting. The movie will go on floors within just a few months.

So, when does it go on floors?

A report on Pinkvilla suggests that De De Pyaar De 2 will go on floors in early 2024. Ajay and Luv met up to lock in on the details of the movie, a source told the portal. The filming will begin after Ajay Devgn ends the shooting for Rohit Shetty directed Singham Again.

Apart from Singham franchise, Ajay is also associated with Drishyam franchise and Golmaal franchise. The actor will also be seen in Drishyam 3 soon. With De De Pyaar De 2, Ajay and Luv might also be up for starting franchise films. Ajay also has Bholaa sequel coming up. The movie is helmed by him and stars Abhishek Bachchan as the lead antagonist.

What will be the script this time around?

De De Pyaar De was about Ashish (Ajay Devgn)’s family accepting his relationship with Ayesha Khurana (Rakul Preet Singh). This time it will be her family accepting him. The twist is that while he is a 50-year-old divorcee, she is 26 years old.
