Dawshom Awbotaar is released, Srijit Mukherji goes on a holiday
Along with Srijit, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Jaya Ahsan, and Anirban Bhattacharya also gave their best for the promotion.

Dawshom Awbotaar was released on October 19. Srijit Mukherji did relentless promotional activities of the film for the last month. Prosenjit Chatterjee, Jaya Ahsan, and Anirban Bhattacharya also gave their best for the promotion. Generally, after the film is released, the cast goes to different cinema halls as part of the campaign. But Srijit left Kolkata on October 19.
Srijit went to his in-laws in Dhaka. He confirmed that on social media. He posted a photo with his wife Rafiat Rashid Mithila. It was a match day between India and Bangladesh and the director posed in front of the TV with the match on. Srijit wrote, “I am watching the India-Bangladesh match while in Dhaka. I am trying to maintain the atmosphere of competition.” Netizens asked him which team he supported but Srijit did not reply.

Srijit will be out of the city for a few days. He will be going to the USA on Thursday night with his family. The London Indian Film Festival will start on October 25. The concluding film is Mrinal Sen's biopic Padatik, directed by Srijit. He might attend the event and then return to India.
His film has already garnered positive reviews. Billed as a prequel of Baishe Srabon and Vinci Da, Dawshom Awbotaar presents Probir Roychowdhury (Prosenjit Chatterjee) and Bijoy Podder (Anirban Bhattacharya) in full swing. The serial killing thriller is running successfully in theatres.
