Dawshom Awbotaar: Check out Prosenjit Chatterjee, Jisshu U Sengupta, Anirban Bhattacharya, and Jaya Ahsan’s first look

Directed by Srijit Mukherji, the poster of the film weaves mystery around 10 Avatars of Lord Vishnu

Srijit Mukherji is back with his Puja release after four years. With Prosenjit Chatterjee, Jisshu U Sengupta, Jaya Ahsan, and Anirban Bhattacharya in the lead, the director will present his ambitious cop-multiverse drama, Dawsham Awbotaar. On September 6, the team launched the poster and the first look of the cast members. The poster also reveals a collage of Prosenjit, Anirban, Jisshu, and Jaya Ahsan. The tagline of Dawsham Awbotaar states: For God's Sake.

The film is produced jointly by Jyoti Deshpande, Shrikant Mohta, and Mahendra Soni of Jio Studios and SVF Entertainment. Srijit’s new film will bring together his earlier thrillers, Baishey Srabon and Vinci Da. The new film is said to be the prequel of these two in which Prosenjit’s Prabir Roychowdhury will meet Anirban’s, Biyoy Poddar. Jisshu dons an interesting look with waves in his hair and bold-frame glasses. Prosenjit sports a French-cut beard and is also seen at Basubati – the same location where the popular last scene of Baishey Srabon was shot.

The poster of Dawshom Awbotaar represents a complex puzzle, featuring Probir Roy Chowdhury and Bijoy Poddar while Jisshu U Sengupta and Jaya Ahsan will also be contributing to the shroud of mystery woven by the lens. The poster further reveals the ten profound avatars of Lord Vishnu – Lord Rama (The Bow and Arrow), Matsya (The Fish), Narasimha (The Man Lion), Parasurama (The Axe), Lord Budhha (Buddhist Prayer Wheel), Kalki (White Chess Horse -The Mighty Warrior), Vamana (The Bonsai Plant), Varaha (The Boar Tooth), Kurma (The Tortoise) and Lord Krishna (Peacock Feather).

Anupam Roy orchestrated the musical album for the film, while Indraadip Das Gupta once more enriched the cinematic experience with his mastery of the background score. Soumik Halderhas worked as the director of photography in the film.
