While the Marvel spotlight is on Moon Knight the upcom ing series starring Oscar Isaac, popular Marvel shows available on Netflix, such as Daredevil and The Punisher, are set to leave the streaming platform at the end of the month.

As reported by Deadline, Netflix’s license for Marvel’s Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, The Punisher, Iron Fist and The Defenders team-up limited series is ending and the rights to the shows are reverting to Disney.

The report also suggests that the company is keeping silent about its streaming plans and is waiting to announce the show’s new home.

Users are also shown disclaimers on the streaming platform that informs them that the shows will be leaving the platform from February 28.

This would mean that all the Marvel content on Netflix will now start streaming on Dinsey+, which is considered the home for Marvel content. All the movies from the MCU to the latest Marvel shows such as Hawkeye are all present on Disney+.

On the other hand, Jeremy Renner starrer Hawkeye also introduced Vincent D’Onofrio’s notorious villain Kingpin, who is also present in the Defenders universe.

According to Deadline, in addition to Disney regaining control of the existing episodes of the Defenders series, Kevin Feige has indicated a possibility of reviving or rebooting shows. This is especially exciting because Charlie Cox’s Daredevil made an entrance in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Daredevil (Seasons 1–3), Jessica Jones (Seasons 1–3), Luke Cage (Seasons 1–2), Iron Fist (Seasons 1–2), The Defenders (Limited series) and The Punisher (Seasons 1–2) are the Marvel shows that are currently available on Netflix.
