The Harry Potter star revealed in a recent interview with The New York Times that he would not be interested in returning for the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child the play that is currently on Broadway and in six other cities around the world.
Daniel explained that he knows this isn't the answer anyone wants to hear, but he thinks he was able to go back and enjoy it because it's no longer a part of his day-to-day existence. The actor is getting to the point where he feels like he got through Potter okay, and he is very content with where he's at now, and going back would be such a drastic upheaval in his life.
Daniel added a ray of optimism for the future for fans. He added that he would never say never, but the Star Wars folks had like 30, 40 years before they went back. It's only been ten days for him, and it's not something he is particularly enthusiastic about right now.
