Dance Deewane - Suniel Shetty admits he had doubts about judging the dance show; 'I am the worst...'

Suniel Shetty has delivered several hit movies in his acting career. After making a mark for himself in the acting space, the Bollywood actor has decided to take up the role of a reality show. Yes, that's true! Suniel has come on-board to judge the upcoming season of Dance Deewane. While it is Shetty's first stint as the reality show judge, Madhuri Dixit Nene returns to Dance Deewane as its judge. Recently, Suniel revealed how he reacted when the show was offered to him.

According to News18, Suniel Shetty stated that many people felt judging Dance Deewane was the best decision he took. In fact, the actor's mother also felt the same because she loves the dance reality show. Although his family thought it was his best decision, Suniel was doubtful about taking this step.

The actor mentioned that when the makers of Dance Deewane approached him, he wondered why they chose him to judge the dance reality show. Suneil added, "I'm probably the worst in the country with two left feet."

Suniel Shetty promotes Dance Deewane

Meanwhile, Suniel Shetty promoted his reality show Dance Deewane on Bigg Boss 17's grand finale. The actor was joined by his co-judge and actress Madhuri Dixit Nene on the stage while Salman Khan hosted the grand finale of BB 17. The three Bollywood actors had a good time reminiscing old memories and enjoying a comic act by Krushna Abhishek.

What's next for Suniel Shetty?

Apart from Dance Deewane, Suniel Shetty has two films lined up. The actor will be seen in Welcome to the Jungle with Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Dutt, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Shreyas Talpade, and others. Directed by Ahmed Khan, the movie is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 20, 2024. Shetty also has reunited with Akshay and Paresh for Hera Pheri 3. A new update is awaited on the same project.
