Dacoit title teaser to be attached to Salaar screens, Adivi Sesh opens up on Salaar vs Dunki clash

This has to be one of the most exciting phases in Adivi Sesh’s career as an actor-writer. With consecutive hits like Kshanam, Goodachari, Evaru, Ami Thumi, Major and Hit 2, he has created a strong foundation for himself and it gives him the right license to experiment and explore uncharted terrains in Telugu cinema. He’ll be seen in two films in 2024 - Dacoit and Goodachari 2.

While the shoot for Goodachari 2 commenced recently, his Dacoit, a pan-Indian action drama, will go on floors soon. The latter has him collaborating with Kshanam, Goodachari and Wild Dog’s cinematographer Shaneil Deo, who makes his directorial debut. Shruti Haasan plays the female lead in the rustic action saga, whose title teaser was launched in Hindi and Telugu today.

Post the title teaser launch, Adivi Sesh interacted with his followers on Twitter and had quirky replies to a few questions. One of his fans wanted Sesh to share a ‘small update’ on Goodachari 2 and his opinion about Prabhas in Salaar, which also features Shruti Haasan as the female lead. The reply revealed a surprising connection between Dacoit and Salaar.

“#G2 next schedule beginning soon :) #Salaar is Indias biggest film. Looking forward! That is why #DACOIT Title teaser will be attached to #Salaar #AskSesh,” Sesh shared. Both the Telugu and Hindi versions of the teasers are expected to be attached to Salaar in select screens across the country. More details about the same are awaited.

Meanwhile, when asked to choose his pick between Salaar and Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki this week, the actor wrote, “#Salaar tomorrow. #Dunki in the weekend. Let me know how you like the - #DACOIT title teaser on the big screen.” Dacoit is written by Adivi Sesh and Shaneil Deo with dialogues by Abburi Ravi. Bheems Ceciroleo is the composer and Danush Bhaskar is the cinematographer.
