Tagaru Palya: Dhananjaya’s third home production to be a Rajyotsava release
Speaking at the trailer launch, Dhananjaya was all praise for the film and said that he’s been making the right choices as a producer, if not as an actor. “I have made mistakes as an actor. At the time, to ensure my growth as an actor, I had to take up projects that I liked and didn’t, so I admit not all of my choices were right. But as a producer, my aim is to try and not repeat any of those mistakes. Tagaru Palya, I promise, is a film that will entertain audiences. My focus is going to be on family entertainers and this is a film that you can watch with your near-and-dear ones in movie halls,” he said.
The film, as per the trailer follows a village ritual involving a sacrificial goat and the customs attached to it. Also on the cast are Vasuki Vaibhav, who is the music composer as well, Poorna Mysore, Rangayana Raghu, Tara, Sharath Lohithashwa, among many others. It will be distributed by KRG Studios in Karnataka. Meanwhile, lead actor Nagabhushana is currently on bail following a road accident in which he ran over a couple of pedestrians, one of who succumbed to her injuries.
