The trailer of the film was released a few days ago. It opens with Ananya Panday's young woman Nella giving control of her life to artificial intelligence (AI) after her traumatic breakup with her boyfriend, played by Vihaan Samat. However, things take a massive turn when this comes back to haunt her. When Nella asks the app CTRL to 'remove' her ex-boyfriend from her life, he goes missing in real life and the complications start. The trailer focuses on social media addiction and how we rely on social platforms for our happiness and sadness.
Talking about her character and the film, Ananya Panday added, “My character Nella, is like any of us. She's caught up in a world dominated by technology and social media. CTRL explores how we navigate the fine line between our online presence and who we are in real life.

The narrative of the film revolves around Nella (Ananya Panday) and Joe Mascarenhas (Vihaan Samat). When they break up and Nella decides to give control of her life to AI, their lives take a haunting turn.
