Yes, we are talking about Creature Commandos now set to join the DCU in a standalone animated series premiering on Max (formerly HBO Max). Produced by Warner Bros. Creature Commandos is a 7-episode series streaming on Max. Written by James Gunn, the show centers on a black ops team of monsters brought together by Amanda Waller. The animated series is expected to carry a TV-MA rating, owing to its violent content. Even in animated form, it promises enough intensity to warrant this mature classification.
