Crakk starring Vidyut Jammwal and Arjun Rampal was released in theatres on Friday, February 23, alongside Yami Gautam's Article 370.
Crakk: Jeetegaa Toh Jiyegaa, starring Vidyut Jammwal, Nora Fatehi, Arjun Rampal, and Amy Jackson released on Friday, February 23. The film is currently locking horns at the box office with Yami Gautam's Article 370. However, Crakk experienced a decline at the ticket window. The film, on its first Sunday, managed to mint only ₹2.4 crore net.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk.com, Vidyut's film made a total collection of ₹8.8 crore net in its first weekend at the ticket window. The film opened with ₹4.25 crore net on Friday, its first day, while it managed to mint in ₹2.15 crore net on Day 2 of its release. On Day 3, the collection of the film saw a slight increase in the numbers by raking in ₹2.4 crore net. The film will be looking to finish under the ₹15 crore mark in India.
Early reports reveal that the worldwide collection of Crakk currently stands at ₹9.25 crore, considering the worldwide collection of ₹2 crore in the overseas market and ₹7.25 crore in the domestic market.
Crakk opened at the box office by locking horns with Article 370 at the box office. However, with the successful weekend collection of nearly ₹23 crore in India, Article 370, starring Yami Gautam, Priyamani, Arun Govil, and Kiran Karmarkar, has outperformed Crakk.
The film is just not competing with Article 370 but Shahid Kapoor-Kriti Sanon's Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya as well as Hrithik Roshan-Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter continue to get foortfalls in weekend 3 and weekend 5 respectively. While Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya has crossed ₹71.25 crore, Fighter has entered ₹200 crore club on Day 31.
Produced by Action Hero Films, Crakk, directed by Aditya Dutt was made on a budget of ₹45 crore and hence the collection of the film failed to even match the budget which indicates that this Vidyut Jammwal and Arjun Rampal starrer is a 'flop' at the box office.
