Countdown begins! Vicky Kaushal unveils an intense poster for Sam Bahadur ahead of its big-screen release

Only a month is left until the theatrical release of Sam Bahadur directed by Meghna Gulzar. Ahead of its much-awaited release, the makers unveiled a new poster from the film featuring Vicky Kaushal in the titular role. The poster shows the actor giving an intense look as Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, all set to give orders to his army.

Countdown to release:

Vicky dropped the poster on his social media pages and wrote, "SAM IS HERE! On 1.12.2023. One month to go! #SAMबहादुर. (sic)"

Real-life inspiration:

Sam Manekshaw, India's first Field Marshall, was a real-life military officer who inspired the events of the film Sam Bahadur. Fatima Sana Sheikh plays Indira Gandhi while Sanya Malhotra plays Sam Manekshaw's wife, Siloo, in the film. Sam Bahadur's teaser trailer debuted a few days ago, giving audiences a taste of the epic story of the great military leader.

Trailer unveiling:

Meanwhile, reports have it that the trailer for Sam Bahadur will be unveiled on November 7, 2023, at a grand event held in the capital. Talking about the same, a source told Pinkvilla that Vicky, Sanya, Fatima, Meghna, Ronnie Screwvala, and the rest of the cast and crew couldn't be more thrilled to finally show the trailer for Sam Bahadur. On November 7 in Delhi, a very special person will unveil the trailer at the debut ceremony at the Manekshaw Centre.

Earlier, while wrapping the shoot for Sam Bahadur Vicky thanked the whole team for this opportunity. He also expressed gratitude to be a part of this team that gave their best to accurately portray the life of a true icon. He got to experience and learn so much, and there's a lot he wants to share with the fans.

Sam Bahadur vs. Animal:

On December 1, 2023, Sam Bahadur will have its theatrical release and will be facing competition from Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in the leading roles along with Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol.
