Netflix’s hit series Control Z will return for its second season on August 4. The streaming giant made the announcement by dropping its trailer on its YouTube page recently.
A digitally aesthetic trailer with techno beats announced the arrival of the series next month. It sees the characters of the show in front of screens, watching scenes from season 1.
The video was captioned as, “If you try to bury the past, it could end up burying you.”
The series, which first aired in May 2020, is a Mexican teen drama. Set in Colegio Nacional (National school), a hacker is going around leaking private information about students, starting from a transgender woman.
Created by Carlos Quintanilla Sakar, Miguel García Moreno and Adriana Pelus, the series follows Sofia Herrera (Ana Valeria Becerril), the social outcast with great observational skills. She teams up with newcomer Javier Williams (Michael Ronda) to uncover the identity of the person behind this sick game and expose them. As more and more people’s secrets are revealed, the students start turning against each other.
