Dhruva Natchathiram, starring Vikram, is director Gautham Menon's most ambitious movie yet.
The wait to watch Tamil superstar Vikram's Dhruva Natchathiram in cinemas seems to be coming to an end. The movie is finally set to see the light of the day in the next few months. Some high-profile members of the Tamil film industry have started expressing their excitement about the movie's impending release in cinemas.
Aditi Ravindranath, an independent consultant in film production, confirmed that the efforts to release the movie in cinemas are afoot. "John John John," she wrote while tweeting a poster featuring the caption 'Countdown to release has begun.'

G Balaji, a colourist, who has worked on several popular Tamil movies, including Super Deluxe and Jai Bhim, confirmed the movie's imminent release. "John is coming soon," he wrote on his X account.
A long wait for Vikram fans
According to reports, Dhruva Natchathiram has completed the censor board formalities and the producers will announce its release date soon. It's said that the producers have planned to release the movie targetting the Diwali holiday.

Dhruva Natchathiram is director Gautham Menon's most ambitious movie yet. However, the movie was stuck in production hell for over seven years. Earlier this year, Gautham expressed confidence in ending the long wait of his fans by releasing it in movies. It was said that the movie might be released in July.
"There are small hurdles, but I am overcoming them slowly," Gautham had said at the time. But, the release didn't happen as planned.
Dhruva Natchathiram will become a franchise
Gautham's ambition won't end with the release of this movie in cinemas. But, it's only the beginning. The director earlier revealed that he has plans to turn this movie into a movie series, following the adventures of Vikram's John, a high-ranking RAW officer.
Besides Vikram, Dhruva Natchathiram also features an impressive ensemble cast, including Simran, Ritu Varma, Aishwarya Rajesh, Parthiepan, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Dhivyadharshini, Vamsi Krishna, and Sathish Krishnan.
