Rajamouli is all set to direct next with Mahesh Babu. The news is that the film will have a new cameraman and VFX head.
Rajamouli and Mahesh
It is a known fact that Rajamouli will direct Mahesh Babu after the success of RRR. As of now, Rajamouli is busy prepping for the shoot of the film which will be made on a massive scale. From years together, Rajamouli has been working with the same technical crew for all his films. But now, it looks like things have changed for Mahesh Babu's next.
We at OTTplay have come to know that Rajamouli has made key changes in his team. Senthil Kumar, the ace cameraman, who has been with Rajamouli for all his films has been replaced by PS Vinod, the happening cinematographer. He had earlier worked on films, Ala Vaikunthapuramlo, Guntur Kaaram, Vakeel Saab, Vikram Vedha, and many other Hindi films. Rajamouli has now roped in him for Mahesh's next.
On the other hand, Rajamouli had associated with Srinivasa Mohan, the VFX supervisor, for all his films. The news is that he has also been replaced by Kamal Kannan RC, who has worked on Rajamouli for Baahubali. This is quite a surprising change as Rajamouli works with his dedicated team and does not shuffle things much.
The news in the film circles is that a few other key changes are being made to the crew which will be announced in the days to come. Rajamouli's next will be made on a budget of a whopping Rs 1000 crore. This is the highest-ever budget for any Indian film to date. Rajamouli's script reading sessions with Mahesh Babu will begin soon, as per the news.
Mahesh Babu is bulking up for the film and the casting is yet to be locked. There is also news that this film will be made in multiple parts. MM Keeravani will compose music for this film which will be produced by KL Narayana.
