Comedian Siva Reddy and Amit Tiwari to play leads in Rent - Not for Sale

What if a popular comedian and a quintessential baddie join hands for a thriller? Sounds like a juicy prospect, doesn’t it? Siva Reddy, popular for his mimicry and a wide range of comedy roles over the last two decades and actor Amit Tiwari, well-known for his badass villain characters, are teaming up for a romantic thriller titled Rent - Not for Sale.

The film, which also has a horror spin to it, is written and directed by Raghuvardhan Reddy. Vanitha Reddy, Manisha Sri, Chaitanya Priya play other pivotal roles in Rent - Not for Sale. The project is bankrolled by Chandaka Raj Kumar and CH Ramnath under Raj Kumar Entertainments and Ramnath Mudiraj Movies. The team has finished filming two schedules of the thriller.

Rent - Not for Sale will be shot across Goa, Devgarh in the third schedule. The cast and crew of the film came together for a press meet on Sunday. The makers promised that the film will be loaded with interesting twists and turns and keep audiences glued to the screens. The entire shoot of the thriller will be complete with the third schedule, they added.

Raghuvardhan Reddy has written the story, screenplay and dialogues for Rent - Not for Sale. Hazrath has cranked the camera for the film while DSR has come on board for the music. Dragon Prakash is the stunt choreographer. Dasari Gangadhar and Balaji Srinu are the co-director and the production executive respectively. The film’s release date hasn’t been announced yet.

Amit Tiwari, who made a mark with Yuvasena, went on to be a sought-out antagonist across many popular films like Temper, Vedalam, Nannaku Prematho, Rangasthalam, Ready, Stalin and Pokiri over the years. He recently turned a lead actor with Nallamala. Some of Siva Reddy’s popular films include Manasantha Nuvve, Athade Oka Sainyam, Vasantham, Dookudu and Namo Venkatesa.
