Parineeti Chopra-Harrdy Sandhu's movie did not even come close to the crore mark.
Parineeti Chopra and Harrdy Sandhu’s latest film, Code Name: Tiranga had a disastrous Box Office opening. The movie did not even manage to touch the crore mark. It has ended up earning Rs. 15 lakhs only, as per a report on Box Office India.
Code Name: Tiranga has been liked by very few. The movie did not see many footfalls after the morning shows.
Of course, given the current situation, there is very little to no scope of the movie seeing any rise at the Box Office. Whether it can survive over the weekend itself is a huge question at this given point of time.
The movie released at the same time as Ayushmann Khurrana’s Doctor G. That film received a much better opening when compared to Code Name: Tiranga.
Doctor G is Ayushmann’s next film after Anek. However, the movie has done better than even his previous release, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui.
The movie went on to mint Rs. 3.50 crores on opening day. Even though the collection isn’t massive, it is fairly good in comparison to most movies’ Box Office collections today.
In comparison, Code Name: Tiranga might not stand a chance at the Box Office. The film was already struggling to survive in theatres but Doctor G getting a positive response reduces chances of Parineeti-Harrdy’s film growing any further by more than 50%.
We can now only wait and see if Code Name: Tiranga makes it through the whole week or not. The weekend numbers will decide how long the film can last in theatres.
