The film will be led by one main protagonist will unveil the mystery — a clever but disturbed inspector who recalls everything, which is both a blessing and a curse for him. Shankar Rebeiro suffers from an uncommon illness known as hyperthymesia, which allows him to recall every detail of his life (in contrast to the popular character from Ghajini), guaranteeing that the past is never truly forgotten. This character-driven theme assures to offer a story with a great blend of action, humour, and heart, following Shankar's journey over a mix of emotions and exciting twists and turns. A strong female character will accompany the protagonist to match his keen charisma and provide an element of mystery to the story.
Balaji Mohan, the director said, according to a Bollywood Hungama, that with the lead being an unusual, one-of-a-kind character, this film required a unique perspective for its treatment. It is something profound, dark, and edgy wrapped in wit to keep viewers guessing and on the edge of their seats until the very end. These connections would have been impossible to achieve without the Junglee Pictures team, and working on this project with them has been a fantastic experience, said the director. “I found this to be the perfect film to make my debut in Hindi cinema with, and we cannot wait to present all that is in the making,” he added.
The production house, meanwhile, has several other upcoming releases that include Doctor G, Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan?, Dosa King, and Ulajh.
