Citadel star Samantha injured, reacts to Priyanka Chopra Jonas's look from the American version of the series

The actress shared a picture of her injured hands on her social media handle and fans have been wishing her a speedy recovery

Actress Samantha, who has begun shooting for her upcoming seb series, Citadel, helmed by Raj and DK of Farzi fame, has got injured on the sets. The actress shared a picture of her bruised and bleeding hands on her social media handle and captioned it, "Perks of Action." It was not long ago that she shared a video of her training for her character along with action choreographer Yannick Ben in the espionage thriller.

Citadel is a science fiction drama series created by Josh Appelbaum and Bryan Oh. The series stars Richard Madden, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Stanley Tucci, Lesley Manville, Osy Iskhile, Ashleigh Cummings and Roland Moller. Madden and Priyanka work at Citadel, a spy organisation with no allegiance to any country. It was only yesterday that the team dropped a picture and the first look of Priyanka Chopra Jonas in a gun-toting avatar in the show. The series is all set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on April 28 with spin-offs across the world.

The Indian adaptation of the same is being helmed by Raj and DK, who had earlier created the popular series- The Family Man and Farzi. The Indian version stars Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. As soon as Priyanka Chopra dropped her look from the series on her social media handle, Samantha dropped a comment. "Yassss," along with fire emojis. On the other hand, Rajkummar Rao, who starred with Priyanka in The White Tiger, wrote, "Awesomeeeeee (Sic)."

Earlier Prime Video had shared that the shoot for the Indian version has begun. They dropped Samantha's look and captioned it, "The mission is on. We have started rolling for the Indian installment of Citadel (sic)." The shoot is in full swing and the team is expected to head to South Africa and Serbia to shoot the rest of the series.
