Apart from The Last Of Us actor Merle Dandridge, Rahul Kohli and Michael Trucco have joined Priyanka Chopra-Richard Madden's Citadel season 2
Citadel season 2 is on its way and with it, there's a new announcement. Various actors have joined the show starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden in the lead roles. They will be recurring characters in the Citadel universe, and one of them is The Last of Us actor Merle Dandridge. Here's everything you need to know about them...
Merle Dandridge is among one of the newer faces on Citadel 2. She was seen in The Last Of Us, where she reprised her character from the original game. She also played the lead role of Grace Greenleaf in Oprah Winfrey's renowned series, Greenleaf. Her other memorable TV shows include The Flight Attendant, Sons of Anarchy, Starcrossed and The Night Shift.
Rahul Kohli is another recurring character on Citadel 2. He is known for his role in iZombie (5 seasons out). He has also been a part of The Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass and Midnight Club. More recently, he was seen in The Fall Of The House of Usher.
Rahul Kohli and Michael Trucco have worked together in The Fall of the House of Usher as well as Midnight Mass and The Midnight Club. Like Rahul, Michael is also a new face joining Citadel universe through Russo Brothers' Citadel 2. Michael will be seen in Stephen King's The Life of Chuck film adaptation soon. However, he is best known for his role as Samuel T. Anders in Battlestar Galactica. Michael has also been a part of some OG shows like How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon and Castle.
Citadel 2 will go under production later this year. Joe Russo will serve as the director this season, and Stanley Tucci, Lesley Manville and Jack Reynor star alongside Priyanka and Richard for Citadel 2. Talking of the story, Angela Russo-Otstot, executive producer and AGBO’s Chief Creative Officer, said, “The second season will build on the intense action and complex characters introduced in the first season, promising even more thrilling twists and intrigue. Also, the recently announced Citadel: Diana and Citadel: Honey Bunny, from Italy and India respectively, further expand the storytelling and scope born from the world of Citadel.”
