Choi Woo-shik is one of the most popular K-drama actors. He recently received love for his amazing performance in the thriller series, A Killer Paradox. Now, a report suggests that Woo-shik has been cast for a new rom-com, titled, Marry Me in Space/Would You Marry Me (literal translation).

On December 23, K-media outlet Isplus.com revealed that Choi Woo-shik is set to star in the SBS drama rom-com, Marry Me in Space/Would You Marry Me. He is expected to take the protagonist's role in the series titled. The plot will explore the story of a newlywed couple entangled in a fake marriage.

The industry creative Lee Ha Na will helm the script-writing duties for the show. She is best known for contributing to mid-2000s comedy dramas like Cunning Single Lady and The Time We Were Not in Love.

Choi Woo-shik's new K-drama is scheduled to premiere on SBS sometime in the latter half of 2025. It will take over the Friday-Saturday weekly broadcast slot as per the report.

Apart from Marry Me in Space, the actor will also lead The Waking and Netflix's Melo Movie, co-starring Park Bo-young.

Choi Woo-shik in A Killer Paradox

In this Netflix thriller series, Woo-shik played the role of Lee Tang. He is an ordinary college student who realizes that he can identify evil people after his first accidental murder.

It tells the story of a man who accidentally kills a serial killer and a detective who relentlessly pursues him. The plot is unique and interesting which keeps viewers hooked, with lots of intense dark comedic undertones.

The cast also featured Son Suk-ku as Jang Nan-gam, a detective who pursues a murder case committed by Lee Tang, and Lee Hee-joon as Song Chon, a former detective who hunts down Lee Tang.

His other famous K-dramas are Our Beloved Summer, Parasite, Wonderland, Train To Busan, Fight For My Way, Rooftop Prince, and more.
