Chitrangda Singh is currently basking in the love she has received for her performance in Modern Love: Mumbai's Cutting Chai segment. In the short film, she plays the role of a writer who hasn't been able to complete her novel and reflects on her journey in the city. In the short film directed by Nupur Asthana, Chitrangda is paired opposite Arshad Warsi.

During an interaction with The Times of India, the actor was asked about the roles she would like to take up now. Chitrangda responded by stating that she refers to a solid story, director, co-actors, and a fantastic project crew. All of these things are highly important to her since they guarantee a particular level of sensibility and project quality.

The actor further spoke about why she took on Bob Biswas which has Abhishek Bachchan playing the titular role. Chitrangda said that Sujoy Ghosh's name was associated with Bob Biswas' as a screenwriter, so she acted in it. He made it apparent that the film is largely about Bob, which is why it's called Bob Biswas. Even though it was Bob's film, she had faith in him and his team and believed her character would be well-represented.

The Inkaar actor also revealed that she would like to try something different. Chitrangda looks forward to the day when filmmakers approach her with their unique personalities. There have been a slew of recent films set in India's heartland. She is curious as to why no one thinks of her for those roles. The actor has been told that she has a glamorous demeanour, but she has never tried to cultivate that image.

Chitrangda realised that she appears to be a sensitive or feminine person, but she has been learning kickboxing for a while now. The actor would love to star in an action movie and throw some punches and kicks on screen. Maybe something along the lines of Charlize Theron's performance in Mad Max: Fury Road.
