The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film, Chithini, unveiled its trailer weeks before its theatrical release. On August 2, the horror drama will be shown on big screens throughout the state. The main actors in this film are Vinay Forrt, Amith Chakkalakkal, and Bengali actress Moksha. Manju Warrier’s Footage is also releasing in theatres on the same day.

The one-minute, fifty-two-second clip undoubtedly alluded to an intriguing horror drama that takes place in a forest. Vinay looks like a young person who is trying to figure out why Chithini died or vanished. He claims that he can sense negative energy using modern paranormal equipment. Moksha plays Amith's wife, who appears to be possessed by the ghost, and Amith plays a police officer who investigates a string of strange deaths in a forest area while staying in the mysterious bungalow.

The mysterious pregnancy of Chithini and the peculiar human sacrifice customs practiced in the area are also alluded to in the teaser. Overall, it seems to imply that the movie will provide theatregoers with a terrifying experience. The movie's two previously released teasers also pointed to a compelling horror drama that takes place in a remote tribal area. The makers have not also shown who is playing Chithini in this horror drama.

Cast and crew of Chithini

K V Anil and East Coast Vijayan wrote the screenplay and dialogue for the film. The makers have announced that the film will be concurrently released in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Telugu. The seventh production on the East Coast, Chithini, will be an emotional drama with scary scenes, they also revealed.

Johnny Antony, Joy Mathew, Sudheesh, Srikanth Murali, Jayakrishnan, Manikandan Achary, Sujith Shankar, Pramod Veliyanadu, Rajesh Sharma, Unni Raja, Anoop Sivasevan, and Kootikal Jayachandran are among the supporting cast members of this movie. Ranjin Raj has composed the soundtracks and original score for Chithini, which is bankrolled under the banner of East Coast Communications Pvt. Ltd.
