Chithha: Silambarasan TR sends a special gift and note to Siddharth's team

The Pathu Thala star had earlier praised the film on social media

Ever since Siddharth's latest outing Chithha hit screens, the film has been receiving a lot of praise from the critics and audience. Chithha, directed by SU Arun Kumar, has Nimisha Sajayan in the lead.

Silambarasan's special note to the film
Pathu Thala actor Silambarasan was the latest to watch the film and he was overwhelmed after the same. The actor sent a special gift to the team along with a handwrittem note, which read, " Sending my heartfelt wishes to the entire Chiththa team for both the success of your film and the exceptional content that you brought to the audiecne. Best wishes! STR (sic)."

Earlier STR had taken to his social media handle to praise the film. His post read, "#Chiththa is beyond hard hitting! A very sensitive subject handled in the lightest way possible with much clarity! Hats off to the director @DirSUarunkumar Extremely proud of actor #Siddharth for choosing this script and producing it! Congrats to team #Chiththa @RedGiantMovies_ (sic)."

Silambarasan's gesture has won the hearts of his fans and those who watched Chithha and loved it.

Kamal Haasan calls the film a must-watch
The Ulaganayagan, who had also revealed the title video, said that Chithha was a film that had to be watched by everyone for the way the message has been told. He added that the film was a better one than his own iconic film , Mahanadhi. He also wished that the film created ripples at the box office as well.

Udhayanidhi Stalin says the film, a bold attempt

Meanwhile, the film's distributor Udhayanidhi Stalin, too, wrote in Tamil, which roughly translates to, "The film Chithha has been released as a socially responsible film that should be seen by everyone, be it parents, teachers or students. The film not only speaks boldly about sexual violence against girl children, but also puts forward a solution to eradicate such atrocities. My best wishes to Siddha film team. #Chithha (sic)."

The film, which hit screens on September 28, along with Iraivan and Chandramukhi 2, has been basking in word of mouth.
