Chiranjeevi and director Sukumar to come together for a film, 'dream come true' says the filmmaker

The star is currently working on Godather, Bholaa Shankar, an untitled film with director Bobby besides signing a project with Venky Kudumula

Pushpa director Sukumar, who is awaiting the commencement of shoot of the second part of the pan-Indian action franchise in a few weeks, has landed another major film. The filmmaker has officially confirmed today that he would be joining forces with the 'mega star', i.e. Chiranjeevi, for a massive project. He announced the news on his Instagram handle where he is seen in an image with Chiranjeevi.

"Dream come true🤩 Wielding megaphone 🎤 for Megastar. Details very soon. 🎬," Sukumar wrote in an Instagram post. While Sukumar has to complete Pushpa The Rule this year, he also has a commitment with Arjun Reddy star Vijay Deverakonda that's expected to commence in 2023. It remains to be seen if the schedule of either of the films is altered due to the announcement.

Chiranjeevi too has his hands full. He's already awaiting the release of Acharya in April and is simultaneously wrapping up three films, Godather with Mohan Raja, Bholaa Shankar with Meher Ramesh and another untitled film with director Bobby. He announced another project with Venky Kudumula earlier this year to be produced by DVV Danayya as well.

It remains to be seen when will the project commence amidst the tight schedules of the star and the filmmaker.
