Chilla Chilla: Fans of Ajith excited as makers announce the much-awaited update on Thunivu's first single

Now, all eyes are on the update related to movie's release date in January

Fans of Ajith were miffed about team Thunivu not coming up with an update on the release of its first single Chilla Chilla. Though an update was expected a couple of days ago, they were disappointed with no one from the team acknowledging it. However, they are now heaving a sigh of relief as an official announcement has been made on the same.

The much-awaited track will be unveiled on December 9, revealed the makers without mentioning the time, though. Ghibran has composed music for the song, which has lyrics by Vaisagh and voice by Anirudh Ravichander.

Ghibran had earlier spilled the beans on the song during a media interaction. According to him, the track will be a peppy number which will satisfy the fans of Ajith. He also said that the song was composed keeping in mind the huge expectations from the star's fans.

Thunivu is said to have three songs, and is touted as an action drama. The film's director Vinoth had recently revealed that the movie can't be categorized into a specific genre and that its USP will be some of the action episodes. The team had unveiled a few stills recently, leaving impatient fans thrilled.

Thunivu marks the third collaboration of Ajith, Vinoth and Boney Kapoor after Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai. Manju Warrier, Samuthirakani, John Kokken, Prem Kumar and Kavin among others will be playing key characters in the movie which has cinematography by Nirav Shah and action choreography by Supreme Sundar.

The project was initially slated as a Deepavali release. But the shooting got postponed owing to certain unavoidable reasons after which the team decided to arrive in December. Later, the makers decided to opt for the Pongal festival for its release.
