Vrott offers several unheard-of Hollywood films and shows. The OTT platform also premieres some never-heard-before English films dubbed in various regional languages. One such film is the recently-released English film Chief of Station, which you can also watch through OTTplay Premium.

Released in May 2024 in the US, this action thriller stars The Dark Knight actor Aaron Eckhart, Olga Kurylenko and Alex Pettyfer. Chief of Station is slated to release on October 4, 2024, only on Vrott in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
What's the plot of Chief of Station?
The film follows Ben (Aaron Eckhart), a retired CIA station chief, who is pushed back into the dangerous world of espionage after his wife, a former operative, dies in a tragic accident. A mysterious message sets Ben on a desperate journey through Eastern Europe, when he forms an unlikely alliance with a former enemy to expose a web of deceit that threatens to destroy everything he believed about his wife, his nation, and his work.

What does the trailer show?
The trailer begins with Ben visiting Budapest and meeting a gangster at a renowned casino. The gangster is shocked to see Ben and sarcastically asks him why he returned from his retirement. In the middle of the conversation, we get to see some glimpses of breathing taking actions inside a moving train.
In the next scene, we see Ben getting rehired by his agency, where the leader of the group mourns his wife's death, leaving the reason for the death shrouded in secrecy. Then, the leader shows Ben a picture of a man and reveals to him that his wife was his handler.
The deeper the trailer delves, we get to see some cryptic messages and secrets about his dead wife, which Ben did not know anything about. This makes Ben realise that all these years he was living a life filled with lies.
Just when the secret is about to be revealed, the trailer shifts to extreme action and fighting scenes. We also get to see a woman with assassination skills team up with Ben on the mission, withholding her name.
The trailer ends with immense violence and brutal actions in various places, leaving viewers wondering who exactly Ben is fighting with.
