Chhaava: Trailer release date of the Vicky Kaushal starrer REVEALED with a grand poster; Internet can't keep calm

Chhaava: Today, on the momentous anniversary of Sambhaji Maharaj's coronation, the makers of Vicky Kaushal's film unveiled the trailer release date.

Chhava starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna is one of the most awaited films of 2025. Ever since the teaser was released last year, the audience went crazy after watching Vicky as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The film was earlier supposed to be released in December 2024, but the makers postponed the film to February 2025 leaving fans disappointed. Today, on the momentous anniversary of Sambhaji Maharaj's coronation, the makers unveiled the trailer release date and the internet can't keep calm.

The earlier released teaser showed Vicky embodying the indomitable spirit of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. He left cinema lovers mighty impressed with his powerful transformation. A while ago, the makers took to social media and revealed that the trailer would be launched on January 22, 2025, along with a breathtaking poster. In the poster, Vicky is seen redefining grandeur and power. Adorned in royal regalia and exuding unmatched intensity, Vicky commands attention like a true king, ready to take the Maratha Empire's history to cinematic glory.

Sharing the poster on Instagram, the makers wrote, "On 16th January 1681, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj’s Rajyabhishek ceremony marked the beginning of a legendary legacy! 344 years later, we bring his story of unshaken courage and glory to life. #ChhaavaTrailer out on 22nd January! Releasing in cinemas on 14th February 2025." Have a look:

Soon after the announcement was shared, fans were seen flooding the comments section. One fan commented, "SUPER SUPER EXCITED FOR THIS." Another fan wrote, "Now this is one movie i can take pride on @maddockfilms are on." One of the comments also read, "This is gonna be legendary ! One for the records for sure!" Others were seen dropping fire emojis.

Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Maddock Films, Chhaava, also starring Akshaye Khanne in an important role, is the tale of the courageous warrior whose coronation on this day in 1681 marked the beginning of a legendary reign. It will hit the big screens on February 14, 2025.
