Chehre: Emraan Hashmi felt intimidated by his veteran co-star Amitabh Bachchan on first day of shoot

Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi-starrer film Chehre is all set to release on the silver screen on August 27. The upcoming psychological thriller tells the story of an 80-year-old man, who conducts a mock trial at his abode and plays real-life games with strangers, while every decision made has its repercussions followed by 'hearings and judgements'. The forthcoming movie also features Krystle D'Souza and Rhea Chakraborty in key roles.

In a recent interview, talking about working with Amitabh for the first time ever, Emraan told Pinkvilla that he was a little intimidated by the iconic star on the first day of the shoot. “It has got this interesting banter between the characters of this film. It’s a mock courtroom drama and the challenge was to get the chemistry with Mr Bachchan’s character, right. But, we all hit it out of the park from the word go,” he added.

Emraan praised his veteran co-star in the film and mentioned to the portal that Big B’s acting is God-level.

On Tuesday, the makers of Chehre released an audio album consisting of all the songs from the film. The Awarapan actor shared the news of the album release and urged his fans to create reels on these tracks. His Instagram post reads, “A romantic song for your loved ones and a poem that will leave you intrigued, we have it covered in the #Chehre album! Make reels using #Chehre and we will share the best ones. #RangDariya #ChehreTitleTrack Watch #Chehre in theatres on 27th August. #FaceTheGame (sic).”
