Dhyan Sreenivasan, who is gearing up for the theatrical release of his comedy drama Cheena Trophy on December 8, has been giving many candid interviews. In a recent interview, the actor spoke about what he thinks is important to sustain in the industry, especially since he is a star kid. He credited good conduct over being a good actor for longevity in the film industry.

In an interview with Ginger Media Entertainment, the actor said, “Just being a good actor isn't enough to sustain in the film industry, because I don’t think we have bad actors in our industry. What matters is maintaining good contacts and a code of conduct. Some actors are criticised for being arrogant after doing just one film, which is why being polite and having good conduct is necessary to sustain here.”

Dhyan continued, “One thing that I have been following religiously over the years is being punctual and friendly to all crew members, because there is always a complaint against young actors like me about not being on time on set, and so on. Also, most actors tend to change how they carry themselves after their films do well. My films have not done well in the last couple of years (laughs), hence there isn't much change in my attitude.”

Anil Lal, a first-time director, centres Cheena Trophy primarily on the arrival of Chinese woman Zheng (Kendy Zirdo). Her presence somewhat disrupts the rhythm of the village, leaving the audience curious about her identity and the reasons behind her visit. The movie unfolds through humorous moments that feature Dhyan and the other characters, offering a glimpse into the lives of the townsfolk against the backdrop of rural life.
