Ravi Teja, who is awaiting the release of his pan-Indian entertainer Tiger Nageswara Rao this October 20, is also backing a concept-driven crime comedy titled Changure Bangaru Raja. Karthik Rathnam plays the lead role in the film written and directed by Satish Varma. Satya, Ravi Babu, Goldie Nissy, Nitya Sri, Ester Noronha, Ajay play other key roles in the film.
The teaser and the promos of Changure Bangaru Raja have made an impression among crowds. While the shoot was completed some time ago, the makers were waiting for the right release time. With a vacant slot this Vinayaka Chaturthi after the postponement of multiple releases (Chandramukhi 2, Skanda), Changure Bangaru Raja will now arrive on September 15.

“Drama, Humour & Suspense. Our @KarthikRathnam3 aka Bangarraju finally gets the #ChangureBangaruRaja release date locked. #CBR RELEASING IN THEATERS ON SEP 15th,” the production house tweeted. A special video featuring Thiruveer, Suhas, director Anudeep, Sree Vishnu, where Karthik Rathnam expresses his anxiety about the release date was launched as well.
The film is being produced by RT Teamworks in association with Frame by Frame Pictures. Swetha Kakarlapudi and Shalini Nambu are the creative producers. Sundar NC cranks the camera for the film while Krishna Saurabh is the music director. Karthik Vunnava is the editor and Janardhan Pasumarthi is the dialogue writer. Narni Srinivas is the art director.
As of now, Vishal’s Mark Anthony, Abhai Naveen’s comedy Ramanna Youth and Vijay Antony’s Bichagadu (re-release) have confirmed their release on September 15. Changure Bangaru Raja’s release timing is quite ideal, provided Ravi Teja’s association helps the team grab a good number of screens in Telugu states. Karthik Rathnam will also be seen in a film titled Sree Ranga Neethulu later.
